SCOTT STIER
PRINCIPAL

Kewaskum High School is located at the southern edge of the beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest, and is home to slightly more than 600 students. Our school blends a vast array of offerings to best meet the needs of each child, while providing a personal touch that can only be provided by a smaller environment.

The staff of Kewaskum High School is dedicated to providing our students with the academic, social, and emotional foundation that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Our focus on literacy and co-teaching maximizes engagement of students in the classroom, and ensures the development of critical skills utilized throughout life. While providing opportunities that will stretch all students within the classroom, we also offer vocational education, youth apprenticeships, and advanced placement (AP) courses for college credit.

The social and emotional aspects of education at KHS are reinforced through our Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS). In short, this formalized structure ensures consistency of behavioral expectations throughout our building, and promotes an outstanding climate that optimizes student learning. Our “F.I.R.E” theme identifies focus, integrity, responsibility, and excellence as values that we look to promote within our students.

Finally, Kewaskum High School offers many co-curricular and athletic activities to ensure engagement beyond the classroom for our students. Lessons learned in these activities round out the education of the “whole child,” and ensure that our students learn valuable lessons of teamwork, dedication and perseverance that will set them apart from others in their future endeavors.

The staff at Kewaskum High School strives to "Ignite a Passion for Learning" in all of our students. We welcome your questions, and would be happy to coordinate a tour upon request. Please contact Principal Scott Stier at 262 626-3105 x 4132.
