1st, 2nd, 6th & 7th Hour 7th Grade Math +/- Connection Adding & Subtracting Integers
Learning Target:

Students will be able to utilize algorithms for adding and subtracting integers.  Students will study fact families and the relationship between adding and subtracting.

Activity/Assignment:

Worksheet completed in class.  Practice problems assigned, if not finished.


Coordinate Graphing with Integers
Learning Target:

Students will review four quadrant graphing with positive and negative integers.

Activity/Assignment:

Worksheet packet assigned in class and final page assigned as homework.


Add/Subtract Practice
Learning Target:

Students will practice adding and subtracting integers with "Pizzazzz" worksheet.  Both sides to be completed.

Integer BINGO
Learning Target:

Students will reinforce their adding and subtracting of integers with BINGO.

Activity/Assignment:

Add/Subtract Integer Quiz
Learning Target:

Students will complete an assessment on adding and subtracting of integers.  Coordinate graphing will also be included on the quiz.


4th & 5th Hour ALGEBRA 1 Absolute Value Equations
Learning Target:

Students will be able to solve equations that include absolute value symbols.

Activity/Assignment:

We will take notes in class and complete practice problems together.

HOMEWORK:

Complete packet and do problems #4-16 and 22-30 EVENS page 390


Continued Practice with Absolute Value
Learning Target:

Students will reinforce their skills in solving absolute value equations.

Activity/Assignment:

No homework! Practice problems done as a competition game in class.


Quick Quiz/ Begin Chapter Review
Learning Target:

Students will complete a short quick (6 problems) involving compound inequalities, absolute value, and linear inequalities.

Activity/Assignment:

Begin Chapter 6 review assignment.

Learning Target:

Continue chapter review.
