o Describe line & angle properties using correct terminology
o Analyze relationships between parallel and/or perpendicular lines and the transversal
o Present convincing arguments by means of demonstration, making conjectures and using counter-examples to show the truth of statements
o Draw precise constructions
Triangle
o Identify Triangle properties
o Use Proofs to logically analyze congruent and non-congruent triangles
o Describe Pythagorean Theorem
Coordinate Geometry
o Use the Midpoint formula
o Determine correct answers using the Distance Formula
o Analyze Parallel/Perpendicular lines by use of Slope Formula
Trigonometry
o Identify the three basic trig functions - Sine/cosine/tangent
o Demonstrate an understanding of the three ratios
Polygons
o Analyze relationships among figures and their parts including special angles
o Make generalizations of conjectures involving polygon properties
o Categorize and identify the different polygons
Area & Volume
o Formulate area formulas
o Examine the area formulas and utilize them
o Formulate and use volume formulas
