Class Descriptions:
Advanced Physical Fitness:
Activity-based class.  Students will be very actively engaged in weight training, plyometrics, and other fitness activities.  Students will be responsible for learning basic anatomy and muscle function.  There will be a guest speaker and possible field trip.  Regular quizzes on the anatomy, muscle function, speaker, and field trip are part of the course requirements.

Junior Physical Education/Life Sports:
Final required class of physical education.  Grading is: 50% participation, 30% test scores, 20% skill and fitness tests.  Various activities for indoors or outdoors depending on when the class is taken. 
Senior Physical Education:
Various activities for indoors or outdoors depending on when the class is taken. **REQUIRED ASSIGNMENTS: 5 page research paper on a historical figure in physical education, athletics, or sports.  Subjects will be assigned in class.  PAPER MUST BE TYPED/WORD-PROCESSED

 Sophomore Physical Education:
Various activities for indoors or outdoors depending on when the class is taken.  Grading is: 50% participation, 30% test scores, 20% skill and fitness tests.
