Homework Policy

All assigned homework is expected to be turned in on time. If for any reason an assignment cannot be completed on time, a parent needs to write a note explaining the circumstance. In most cases, the student will be given a one-day extension.

If students forget assignment(s) at home, I do allow them to make a phone call in the event someone would be available to bring it to FES. Otherwise, it is considered a late assignment--The student will be given a late homework slip for the parent to sign and will be expected to bring the finished assignment to school the next day.
Consequence for late assignments: A student will be given a late-assignment-slip and will be spending time with Mrs. Wenzlaff during recess so that Mrs. Wenzlaff can give your child extra help in completing the assignment.
