On a professional level:

• This is my 11th year teaching in Kewaskum.
• I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a Spanish major.  I graduated with my Master's in Education summer of 2009.
• I am the Yearbook adviser at the high school.
• I am the Spanish Club adviser at the high school.  
• I am the Spanish Travelers adviser.  We have been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Spain.  Trips are planned every other year.

On a personal level:

• I grew up in Costa Rica, Argentina, and Ecuador from 2nd grade on through high school.
• I am married with 4 children (ages 11-20), three cats, and a dog at home.
• I have a granddaughter, Maya Janice!
• I enjoy reading all kinds of books.   I LOVE SSR!
• I have read the following books this summer:  Moon over Manifest, Stargirl, The Red Pyramid, and The Lost Hero.  These are from our library, so check them out!!!!
• My favorite Spanish literature character is Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes.
• I am participating in 3 different fantasy football leagues this fall.
