June 6
Students will meet next year's teacher(s) on the final day of school. They will also receive their yearbooks and have a time period for signing each other's yearbooks. Report cards will be distributed this morning, too.
Additional Reminders!
(1) Just a word to parents to remind their children that school isn't over yet! We still have homework deadlines each day. Work needs to be handed in on time. Assignment notebooks still need to be given to parents for signatures. Attention in class is still required, as are respect and following school and classroom rules.
(2) If your child's assignment notebook is filled or on its last pages, there is no need to get a new one. If you have pages left over in a third grade assignment notebook, they may be used. Otherwise, students can used the copied pages that I have for when students are absent.
Absence Notices Reminder
Mrs. Krell is requesting that parents call in children's absences directly to the office, 262-626-8427, ext. 3000, rather than to your children's classroom teachers. Calls can also be left on the attendance line at the main number 262-626-8427. When you call the attendance line or extension 3000, the teacher is informed in a timely manner. If you only call the teacher, the teacher doesn't know that the office hasn't been notified. If the teacher is absent, no one can access the teacher's voice mail and receive the message. Then Mrs. Krell has to call home to check on the child's absence, once roll call is taken.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. You can call the district office at 626-8427 and ask for Mrs. Schreiber at Farmington Elementary or put in 3209 to call me directly. Or you can e-mail me at my website in the Farmington directory.
