Achievement
1. Equivalent to 35% of total Physical Education Grade.
2. Students will be expected to know the equipment, terminology, rules, and regulations for each sport they
participate in. A written test will be taken upon completion of each unit.
Social Development
1. Equivalent to 25% of total Physical Education Grade.
2. Each student begins the day with 4 points, and points will be deducted as follows:

1. No gym gear
2. Partial gym gear
3. Non-athletic type shoes
4. Not wearing sweat socks
5. Wearing jewelry
6. Chewing gum
7. Tardy for class

Participation
1. Equivalent to 40% of total Physical Education Grade.
2. Each student begins the day with 4 points
3. Each student is evaluated using the following criteria:

a. Put forth maximum effort for the entire class period = 4 pts.
b. Put forth maximum effort for most of the class period = 3 pts.
c. Put forth maximum effort for some of the class period = 2 pts.
d. Put forth very little effort = 1 pt.
e. Does not work at all or causes trouble = 0 pts.
f. Sportsmanship.
g. Improvement.
h. Willingness to try new activities.
i. Teamwork. |
