My name is Peggy Henke and I teach Elementary Art at Kewaskum Elementary School. This is my 31th year of teaching Art in the Kewaskum School District.  Many of you who now have children enrolled at KES are former students of mine.  It is always nice when you stop in and say hello as many of you did at open house. 

  I graduated from Marian College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education and I received my Master's Degree from National College of Education.

I look forward to exploring the world of art with your child. Art is everywhere!  I strongly believe that creating art is one of the most rich and rewarding experiences a child can have.  When you are in the building feel free  to stop in the art room and see what we are creating! 

 All students will once again have the opportunity to create art for Original Works, where their art can be made into a variety of keepsake products.  I will be holding those art projects until production time, so you may see a little less art coming home and a little less art throughout the halls.

I hope that all of the projects created in art find their way home.  I encourage all parents to ask your children about the art they are creating!
