I hold a teaching license for grades 1 through 8 and also a 316 reading certificate. I graduated from UW-Platteville with an Elementary Education degree with a minor in Reading Language Arts. I earned my 316 Reading license from UW-Oshkosh.
I have been teaching in the Kewaskum School District for 27 years. Before coming to Kewaskum in December, 1985, I taught Title 1 Reading in the school district of Princeton.
In the summer of 2009, I graduated from Viterbo University with a Masters Degree in Education.
I currently live in Jackson with my husband, Steve. We have three children; Ali (23), Alex (21), and Anna (17). We enjoy many activities together, like: camping, biking, hiking, playing tennis, traveling, and sporting events.
This will be my eighth year teaching at Farmington Elementary School. Previously I taught at Kewaskum Middle School and Kewaskum
Elementary School. I have really loved getting to know all the children and parents at Farmington!
Other interests that I have are tennis, reading, gardening, biking, and cooking.
