The purpose of this webquest is for students to better understand deviance and the use of social controls to prevent deviance.  Students will be creating tri-fold presentations that demonstrate the pros and cons of the death penalty along with personal statements. Based off of students’ prior knowledge and the research, students will complete the center section of their tri-fold stating their own opinion on the use of the death penalty prior to their research and after the research has been completed.
