This Civil Rights webquest accompanied a fifth grade book club.  Students completed an author study of Mildred Taylor's books.  They read Song of the Trees, Mississippi Bridge, The Friendship, and The Gold Cadillac.  All of the books addressed the hardships that many African-Americans faced during the Civil Rights Era.
