2008-09 FINAL ATHLETIC/COMPETITIVE CLUB CODE MEETING

2008-09
The student code has been revised to be more student-friendly and only pertains to those students in competitive activities. Parents/guardians who attended a code meeting last year will not be required to attend this year, unless your student is an incoming Freshman or new student to KHS for the 2008-09 school year (then you are required to attend a meeting).
STUDENTS WILL BE UNABLE TO PRACTICE OR PARTICIPATE ON A COMPETITIVE TEAM WITHOUT ATTENDING AN ATHLETIC/COMPETITIVE TEAMS STUDENT CODE MEETING.

DEFINITIONS
For purpose of the 2008-09 Athletic & Competitive Teams Code:
Athletic and competitive teams include:
Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cheerleading*, Chess, Cross Country, Dance*, Football, Forensics, Golf, Hockey, Mock Trial, Soccer, Softball/Fast Pitch, Track & Field, Tennis, Volleyball, West Bend Ski Team, and Wrestling.
*Any performance for the team is considered a contest/competition as referred to in the Code.
Performing organizations/classes and non-competitive organizations include, but are not limited to:
Art, Art Club, Band, Choir, Class Officers, Color Guard, Costa Rica Travelers, FACE classes, FBLA, FFA, FHA, FTA, German Partners, HOPE Club, Jazz Band, KEY Club, Lit. Club, Marching Band, Math Team, Musical, NHS, Peer Listeners, Pep Band, Ski/Snowboarding Club, Smoke Signals, Spanish Club, Student Council, Swing Choir and Yearbook
