CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2009
SUNDAY IS: Robert La Follette Sr. Day
Robert M. La Follette Sr. is widely regarded as Wisconsin's most distinguished political leader. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1885 to 1891, as Wisconsin Governor from 1900 to 1906, and in the U.S. Senate from 1906 until his death in 1925. He was one of the founders of the national Progressive Party and was that party's candidate for president in 1924. A national poll of historians and senators in 1957 named La Follette one of five most distinguished nonliving senators. This day is observed if school is in session.

ANYONE WHO HAS A BALANCE IN THEIR LUNCH ACCOUNT AND HAVE NO YOUNGER BROTHERS OR SISTERS SHOULD LEAVE A NOTE (IN THE OFFICE) WITH MRS. HORBAS REQUESTING THAT THEIR BALANCE BE SENT TO THEM. IF IT’S OVER $5.00 A CHECK WILL BE MAILED TO YOUR ADDRESS, IF IT IS LESS THAN $5.00, YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR CASH IN THE OFFICE.

Key Club: Attention Key Club members. This is a very important announcement. The Kewaskum Kiwanis Club - the people who sponsor our club and pay for much of what we do - is asking for a favor. They would like one or two students to serve refreshments at movies over the summer, and they need our help. The time is approximately somewhere between 7 and 8 at night on most Wednesdays throught the summer. Please sign up outside of Mr. Ross' room or see him for more details.
ATTENTION H.O.P.E. CLUB MEMBERS: THE LEADERS CHOSEN FOR NEXT YEAR THROUGH OUR H.O.P.E. CLUB VOTE ARE KYLE WEGNER, MONICA DEHLER, ELISSA MILLER,AND RACHEL RIEDEN. ENJOY YOUR SUMMER; PERHAPS WE WILL MEET AT A H.O.P.E. CLUB SUMMER ACTIVITY.
Boys Golf - see Mr. Eichstedt if you did not attend the banquet last night - you will be charged for equipment you did not return.
Today there will be a sign-up for the NEWLY formed PEP Club. Show your spirit and sign-up with Mr. Steers during lunch or see Mr. Steers sometime during the day. Let's Go Indians!
JV girls basketball players: practice starts MONDAY June 15 at KHS from 6:30-8:00 for summer league. League starts Tuesday June 16. The first game is at 6:30.
Varsity girls basketball players: Don't forget your first game is at 6:00.
Boys Soccer: If you are interested in playing soccer in the fall and did not attend the meeting please see Mr. Piwoni today.
Student Government: The members for next years student government will be posted outside of Mr. Piwoni's room after 2nd block.
Students to take your lock home or you will be responsible for purchasing a new one next year. Seniors if they want to donate their lock, bring to office, do not leave on locker!
Anyone interested in auditioning for Gateway Theatre's summer comedy, She Was Only Marginally Modest, please come to the Kewaskum Theatre on Monday June 15th or Tuesday June 16th at 6:00 p.m. Auditions will be held by Nick Brettingen both nights until 8:00 p.m. Scripts will be available, along with a synopsis of the play and a character list.
