Reading helps us ask questions, explore, learn, and share.  In working with staff and students in Kewaskum Community Schools, reading takes me on new journeys each day!

In my 16th year of teaching, I have taught grades 1,2,4,5, and have worked as a Title I teacher and Reading Specialist before coming to Kewaskum.  This is my fourth year in the Kewaskum Community Schools.  I received my undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Elementary Education and Math, from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, and I earned a Masters Degree in Reading/Language Arts from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.  I am licensed as a Reading Specialist and Reading Teacher for grades PreK-12, and as a classroom teacher at the elementary level for grades 1-6.

I  am lucky enough to work in schools throughout our district, but have a schedule that varies quite a bit.  I am usually at the following locations throughout the week, but travel to other buildings as needs arise.

     Monday-- Farmington Elementary.

    Tuesday-- Wayne Elementary

    Wednesday--Kewaskum Elementary.

     Thursday AM -- Kewaskum Elementery

Thursday PM & Friday--These days are "flex" days where I may be at any of the elementary schools.

The best way to reach me would probably be through email.  By telephone, try my home office at my Kewaskum Elementary location (262-626-8427 ext. 1209).  If I am not available, please leave a voice mail and I will return your call.

A little bit about me...

I'm originally from St. Louis, MO.  I have lived in Wisconsin for the past 12 years, and my family has settled in West Bend.  I have two boys, ages 7 and 11.  We love the area and enjoy bike riding,  baseball, soccer, camping and hiking.
