Additional Information

In Battle of the Books, students in grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 form teams that compete to answer questions about books they have read.  Students read from a list of selected books at a variety of levels.

Teams are formed in October and November, and school level battles occur in late January and early February.  The winning team from each school will compete online from their school building in the statewide battle hosted by WEMTA (Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association) during a week in mid/late February.
