Being Excited About Reading (BEAR) Workshop

Being Excited About Reading (BEAR) Workshop

BEAR workshops are an exciting opportunity!

BEAR workshops offer fun reading opportunities for elementary students at FES, WES, and KES to reinforce reading skills.  Invited students typically meet 2 days a week before school or after school, and participate in high interest activities centered around reading.

During each session, your child will work towards specific goals.  The progress reports will communicate these goals with parents at the beginning of each session, and your child's progress towards these goals will be noted at the end of each of our sessions.  Thank you parents for your feedback last year!

When does BEAR begin?

Student eligibility for BEAR is determined in early October.  Parents are notified mid-October, and BEAR groups begin in late October.
