Summer School

We offer a variety of courses for elementary through high school students who reside in the Kewaskum School District or are currently enrolled in the District. Students who reside outside of the district may take courses, but will be charged tuition. We are certain that regardless of which course a student chooses, a useful and pleasurable learning experience will be provided.

Registration for Summer 2008 is now closed.

Use your child's grade level for the 2007-2008 school year to select the grade level for the summer school courses.

  • Because some courses have a limit on enrollment, we will place students depending on the teacher recommendations or on a first-come, first-served basis. If a course is filled and you have included an alternate course, we will enroll your child in the alternate course.
  • Most courses have a minimum enrollment and may be cancelled if this minimum is not reached. Therefore, it is important to select an alternate course.

Location and Times

The course description tells you when and where the class will meet. All courses will be held at Kewaskum Elementary (KES), Kewaskum Middle School (KMS), or Kewaskum High School (KHS) this year with the exception of The Great Outdoors course which is held at Farmington Elementary (FES) on Tuesdays. You will receive a confirmation letter informing you of when and where the class meets.

                                                                        Attendance and Behavior

Attendance is kept during Summer School. If a student is absent 3 days in a row without special arrangements, he/she will be dropped from the course. Students may also be dismissed from Summer School for inappropriate behavior.

                                                                       Buses and Transportation

We are planning to offer busing for Summer School this year. One bus will be run from each of 4 satellite locations (Beechwood, Farmington, Fillmore-Turner Hall, and Wayne), depending on enrollment. The buses will pick-up once in the morning and return students after the final class at 11:55 a.m. NO BUSES WILL RUN BETWEEN CLASSES. IF YOU WANT BUS TRANSPORTATION BOTH WAYS, YOU MUST REGISTER FOR ALL OF THE SESSIONS, FROM 8:00-11:55, OF SUMMER SCHOOL.
