Wireless Laptop Cart

The Middle School has no additional room for a wired computer lab, so we purchased a solution that contains 30 wireless laptops.  The cart will provide students with network/internet access from any classroom.

Laptop
This is a picture of the laptop that will be used with the wireless cart at Kewaskum Middle School.

Computer Desk
The Middle School staff members received new computer desks to replace their old desks.  The old desks were in very poor condition.

Library Book Scanner
One library book scanner was purchased for the library at the Middle School, and one scanner was purchased for the library at the High School.  This will make the book check-in/check-out process more efficient.

Color Laser Printer
This printer replaces an outdated Apple Color Laserwriter printer.  This printer is shared by the Art and TechEd Departments at the Middle School.

Flatbed Scanner
One scanner was added to the computer lab at the Middle School, and one scanner was added to a computer lab at the High School.

Network Wiring
Network equipment was replaced and updated.  Additional cabling and re-wiring was done at the High School and Middle School

Staff Training

Middle and High School staff received training on the new Gradebook program.  The new program will interface directly with the District's student management system.

More Staff Training
All teaching staff received training on how to create their own webpages.  The new website was launched on September 16th.  Staff continues to update and add to the pages that they started during training.  The importance of communication between home and school was stressed during the training session.

Color Printer
Each of the five schools received a color printer.

The Graphic Communication class at KHS now has eight digital cameras and accessories.

Referendum funding is being used to purchase new software, and to update existing software.

Video/ Multimedia Computer
A Video Multimedia computer was purchased for the Middle School Video Club and will be used in KMS computer classes.
