The district uses a variety of assessments to improve our instruction and better meet the needs of our students. Feedback about how students are learning is pivotal for increasing students learning. Every day teachers use formative feedback from classroom observations and classroom assessments to improve their instruction. The district also uses some common assessments to determine which students need enrichment and interventions. State assessments are used to gauge how the district is doing in relation to other districts and the state as a whole. Confidentiality of student data is very important to us, and we use many precautions to make sure that the confidentiality of student assessment data is protected.
