ACT 55 Public Notice
Annually, Kewaskum School District must provide to the parent or guardian of each pupil enrolled in or attending the school the following:

a) a copy of the schools’ most recent accountability report.
b) a list of the educational options available to children who reside in the Kewaskum School District.
c) notify all families of students with disabilities of the Special Needs Voucher Program.

Child Find Activities: The Kewaskum School District is required to locate, identify, and evaluate all children with disabilities, including children with disabilities attending private schools in the school district and homeless children. The process of locating, identifying, and evaluating children with disabilities is known as child find. The Kewaskum School District conducts child find activities during Child Development Screening Days.

Open Enrollment:  Wisconsin’s inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside. Applications may be submitted to up to three nonresident school districts.  Learn more.

Alternative Open Enrollment - Parents interested in applying for open enrollment outside the regular registration window must complete an Alternative Application and submit it to the school district to which you are applying.  

Part-Time Open Enrollment - A pupil enrolled in a public school in the high school grades may attend public school in a nonresident school district for the purpose of taking a course offered by the nonresident school district.  A pupil may attend no more than two courses at any time in nonresident school districts.
