Community Survey 2021

Our Commitment to Continued Excellence

Kewaskum students continue to achieve and grow both in and out of the classroom. The Kewaskum School District is recognized for

  • High academic performance, strong test scores, and graduation rates
  • Robust music, drama, art, and world language programs
  • An expanding selection of Advanced Placement (AP) and technical college courses, giving students the opportunity to earn post-secondary credit
  • Highly competitive athletic and co-curricular programs

We are also proud to maintain some of the lowest school property taxes in the region. This rare combination of academic excellence and fiscal responsibility reflects our district's strong leadership and community support.

We also recognize there is always more we can do.

In November 2021, we began the process of updating our long-term strategic plans to ensure continued success. At the heart of this planning effort are three key questions:

  1. What are we doing well
  2. Where do we need to improve
  3. What should our highest priorities be moving forward

To help guide these efforts, we invited all community residents to complete a brief survey. The responses, gathered and analyzed by School Perceptions to ensure confidentiality, are helping us shape a plan that meets the needs of our students while honoring the values of our taxpayers.

The results of the 2021 Community Survey are available online.

Population Study

An original population study was completed in 2022 and shared with administration and board members to help inform long-range planning. This study includes enrollment projections for the next ten years.

In light of recent and proposed developments in the area, the original study has been updated to reflect the latest data and trends.

You can view the updated Population Study here: Kewaskum Population Study.
An accessible version of the document is available upon request by contacting the district office.
